Founder's Page

Hello, I’m Stephanie, the founder and owner of Competing Mechanics. I designed this site for car owners, like me, who feel threatened by finding auto repairs. Admittedly, I know almost nothing about auto repair. I do, however, know how to shop. I also know that competition is the guardian of capitalism – and that smart shopping is how we keep watch. Unfortunately, shopping for auto repairs has never favored car owners. Avoidance and acceptance have been the industry’s only offered solutions. No more! Thankfully, Competing Mechanics is now in the toolbox.
